4. What are your strengths as a writer?
In my opinion I have many strengths as writer because I have been writing papers since I was in first grade at St. James. For starters if there is a requirement for how long a piece of writing has to be, I will never write less. When I write I feel as if I could never run out of ideas and I could write forever. I will never come short on a paper because I have never done that. Also I can write about various topics such as English, History, Science, and even Dance. For english I have written personal narratives, literary analysis', and research papers. In Dance I have written one paper about a dancer that was very good and in fourth grade I won an award for writing a paper about my experience in partner dancing class.
Specifically in English I learned how to write a thesis that is arguable and clearly stated. I have learned this through writing the literary analysis on Lord of the Flies. I also had to say what literary elements were used in the book such as foreshadowing, irony, and figurative language. This was new to me but now I can identify it and write about also. Lastly, I love writing about history no matter the subject because I am good at it. Researching about what historians have found to be true is very cool. I enjoy writing about that and I have excelled at it.
